Reproduction of a fabulous Art Deco poster by the incomparable Rogers Broders. Broders was a French illustrator best known for his travel posters promoting tourist destinations in France, both on the Cote d'Azur as well as in the French Alps. This is one of his best known posters.
The Paris Lyon Mediteranée Company, the infamous PLM railway, commissioned Broders' poster art, sponsoring his travel so he could visit the subjects of his work. From 1922 to 1932, Broders fully dedicated himself to poster art, though overall he produced fewer than 100 posters.
