Evian Les Bans in Haute Savoie PLM Railroad Poster 1909 France
Original vintage PLM travel poster promoting Evian-Les-Bains the Evian spa town in Haute Savoie in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region in South East France. Stunning Art Deco design by Lucien Peri (1880-1977) depicting a speed boat with two water-skiers zooming by people sitting on the steps and under sun umbrellas relaxing by the water and walking along the promenade with a tall tree in front of a spire and a mountain behind a grassy hill and a building (most likely the Hotel Royal that opened in 1909) in the background. Printed by PLM in Paris.
