Reproduction of Beautifull poster by Johannes Emil Müller (JEM) inspired by a design from Georges Flemwell, for "Villars - Bretaye" the-jet set resort of the canton of Vaud (Waadt) in the Swiss Alps. This image, created in 1925, was printed twice in the twenties, with small differences in the colors, in French and German. We are selling the extremely rare Fench version, also finely printed in stone lithography. This extremely rare poster, showing 11 dwarfs carrying a hudge snowball triggering an avalanche in the "Dents du Midi" mountains, present the signature G.Flemwell. During decades this poster iwas wrongly attributed to him. The discover by the collector Bernard Wyder of an old postcard showing the dwarfs scene above the "Château de Chillon" close the dispute. This poster is definitively attributed to Johannes Emil Müller, inspired by the painter & illustrator Georges Flemwell.
