Featuring his wonderful 1950 artwork "La Danseuse Creole" or "Creole Dancer," created during the "Cut-Out" series, this Henri Matisse poster was created by the French Tourism Office to promote travel to Nice in the South of France. The artwork depicts famous dancer Katherine Dunham, who sat for Matisse in his home in France.
