Gorges da La Diosaz  Chamonix Vintage Travel Poster by Roger Broders
ca. 1930. French vintage poster.
This poster realized by PLM Railroad Company

Beautiful reproduction of the original poster by Roger Broders for the PLM railroads and the Gorges de la Diosaz in the Chamonix valley. Roger Broders is one of the most prolific poster artists of the 1930s: his work is inseparable from the PLM company, which commissioned more than a hundred posters from him between 1922 and 1932. The Compagnie des chemins de fer de Paris à Lyon et à la Méditerranée, commonly referred to as Paris-Lyon-Méditerranée or its acronym PLM, was one of the most important private French railway companies between its creation in 1857 and its nationalization in 1938, when the SNCF was created. The suspended path of the Diosaz gorges offers, in a wild and natural site, a grandiose and unusual spectacle. This gorge is one of the must-see places in the Mont Blanc region. This site can be visited via a magnificent shaded path hanging on the walls or crossing the torrent on solid footbridges. An original and unusual walk during which you will discover the 5 waterfalls of the Diosaz and will reach the heart of the canyon.

This poster is a reproduction of the original poster.
