This stunning Les Diablerets poster was created by the artist Martin Peikert in 1963. Peikert’s image features a beautiful if a bit skinny, young woman as she holds on to one of Diableret’s three drag lifts, taking her to the top of the ski run. She is dressed in a bright yellow jumpsuit and looks every bit like a ray of sunshine. It takes a second before you notice the black shadowy figure sitting on her shoulders. Upon closer inspection, you can see it’s a young sprite playing the flute and wearing skis. Peikart used the faun as a motif for several of his Les Diablerets posters.
